This executive will oversee multi-site warehouse operations, private fleet transportation, and third-party logistics providers to deliver best-in-class service, strong inventory accuracy, and scalable growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on strategic leader who can translate operational excellence into financial performance, service reliability, and margin improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead all distribution centers and plant warehouse operations across the network Drive operational performance across key metrics including service level, inventory accuracy, productivity, and safety Improve inventory integrity through cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and system discipline Oversee private fleet operations, carrier relationships, and freight spend optimization Manage and govern 3PL providers, contracts, and performance expectations Design long-term network strategy including facility footprint, capacity planning, and expansion Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to improve OTIF performance and reduce chargebacks Optimize labor productivity, staffing plans, and automation investments Own the logistics P&L, annual budget, and cost improvement initiatives Champion a strong safety and compliance culture (DOT, OSHA, food safety) Build and develop a high-performing supply chain leadership team Requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 12+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, warehousing, and transportation Experience leading multi-site distribution networks Background in food & beverage, CPG, or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred Experience managing private fleet and 3PL operations Strong working knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems Proven financial ownership, including budgeting and P&L management Experience with network optimization or supply chain analytics is a plus Leadership Traits Strategic but operationally hands-on Data-driven and results-oriented Effective cross-functional partner Change leader and team builder Customer-focused with a strong safety mindset
