Description

VVater is a US-based, next-generation water treatment company that aims to provide Water for Humankind with a cornerstone of sustainability and a promise of a better, healthier tomorrow—servicing various industries and markets around the world from Real Estate, Wastewater Treatment, Municipal Potable Water, and multiple others, in particular, focusing on the recovering and recycling of different waters in a centralized or decentralized way. The company also does artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, surf parks, aquatics, sewage treatment, wastewater, and drinking water.
The Vice President, Technology & Information Services (VP TIS) leads VVater’s digital and operational technology agenda, from enterprise IT and cybersecurity to AI products, full-stack apps, and industrial automation. Reporting to the CEO and working with Sales, Operations, and Engineering, the VP sets the technology vision, runs day-to-day IT operations, and delivers secure, scalable solutions that support growth and efficiency. This role blends strategy with hands-on leadership: overseeing service desk, network and cloud infrastructure, and end-user support while guiding advanced initiatives in AI, software development, and automation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
  • Ten or more years in IT, software, or automation leadership roles, with at least five years at VP/SVP/CTO level managing both enterprise IT and product-engineering teams
  • Proven success deploying AI/ML solutions, securing hybrid IT/OT ecosystems, and shipping customer-facing SaaS or mobile products
  • Deep expertise in cloud architectures, microservices, DevSecOps toolchains, power-electronics or automation interfaces, and cybersecurity frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to scale multidisciplinary teams and manage operating budgets.
  • Executive-level communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
**As a part of our process to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of all applicants, assessment tests are required as part of our recruitment process. Unfortunately, should you elect not to participate in completing the assessment tests, your application will not be able to progress to the next stage or taken into consideration during evaluation

Responsibilities
  • Own the enterprise IT function, networks, cloud, endpoints, service desk, SaaS platforms, and OT connectivity, ensuring 24 × 7 availability, disaster recovery, and an excellent end-user experience
  • Set and execute a multi-year technology roadmap that integrates AI/ML, full-stack and mobile apps, edge/IIoT automation, and cloud platforms with VVater’s commercial and product strategies
  • Lead cybersecurity and risk programs, establishing zero-trust architecture, full CPS, and defend critical infrastructure, incident-response playbooks, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CMMC)
  • Direct full-stack and mobile development teams (React/Flutter, Python/Node, C++/C#) to deliver customer portals, CPQ and pricing engines, and internal workflow apps
  • Oversee industrial automation and OT integration, PLC/SCADA standards, IIoT sensor networks, and edge compute that tie Farady Reactors and our other advanced water treatment systems, including our residential units into VVater’s digital backbone
  • Implement DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices; standardize policies, procedures, documentation, and change management to enable rapid yet controlled releases
  • Provide hands-on support when critical issues arise, diving into network configurations, cloud consoles, or code reviews to unblock teams
  • Partner with Sales to refine CPQ configuration rules, pricing models, demo environments, and late-stage technical support, bridging commercial and engineering teams
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain world-class engineers, IT administrators, data scientists, and security professionals; foster an inclusive, high-performance culture
  • Cultivate external partnerships with vendors, universities, and consortia to scout emerging technologies and secure grants or incentives
