The Role The Vice President of Technology is a Panorama Eyecare executive leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology strategy. This role ensures that technology supports business goals, drives innovation, maintains security, and scales with growth. The VP of Technology is responsible for the Company’s medical records system, the IT function including vendor management for outsourced duties, and supports call center technology. What You Will Do Oversees implementation, maintenance and administration of the organizations technology systems and equipment. Establishes operating policies and procedures to optimize technology. Monitors performance reports and user feedback to develop insights and strategies for operational and business initiatives Collaborates with Senior Leadership Team to implement technology changes to increase productivity and security Ensures the organizations utilization of technology adheres to all internal and external standards, requirements, laws and regulations Supports the acquisition due diligence process for technology and leads the technology integration workstream Ensures the highest level of data privacy, cyber security, and regulatory compliance Manages technology vendors and contracts Manages and mentors a team, building scalable team structures and promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration Other special projects and duties as needed. Requirements Who You Are Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 15+ years of progressive technology leadership in a healthcare organization Strong background in systems architecture, security, cloud based platforms and system implementation Proven experience leading a team of IT professionals and scaling organizations in rapid growth Skills & Competencies Able to work independently with minimal supervision, takes initiative and ownership of work, proactively identifies problems and drives solutions. Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of building relationships across disciplines. Ability to think strategically and holistically about the organization's operational objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and to align them with the organization's vision and goals. Lead and manage a team of professionals and experts and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Ability to delegate, empower, coach and mentor their team members, and to provide them with feedback and recognition. Influence and collaborate with other leaders and managers across the organization and build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. Facilitates change and implements programs and policies using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exhibits strong decision-making skills and appropriate sense of urgency.
