To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the Role As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly, as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. To be successful in this role, you will have: • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). • 2 years full-time post registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting. • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients. This was first used as a mobilisation and training area during WWI and by 1939, and was formally established in the early 1940’s. It is home to the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Training Centre, Army Knowledge Centre and Schools of Artillery & Transport. The health centre services up to 4000 Defence members and provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health. There is a 12 bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
