VOYAGO IS HIRING A FULL-TIME DRIVER FOR THE VICTORIA HOSPITAL SHUTTLE!

As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring patients have safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation between the Residence Inn and Victoria Hospital

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

  • Safely transporting patients along a set route, helping their day run smoothly
  • Conducting a quick pre-shift vehicle inspection to confirm everything is in proper working order
  • Following scheduled routes while practicing safe driving and effective time management
  • Maintaining communication with dispatch and promptly reporting any issues or incidents
  • Delivering excellent customer service so passengers feel comfortable and cared for during their journey
  • Accurately completing required paperwork, including trip logs, to keep operations running smoothly
  • Managing the physical demands of the role, including bending, twisting, and securing wheelchairs safely

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • You prioritize safety on the road and take pride in maintaining a clean driving record
  • You can provide a clean criminal record check, including vulnerable sector screening
  • You arrive on time for every shift, giving yourself enough space for pre-trip vehicle checks
  • You present yourself professionally, are courteous, and treat passengers and colleagues with respect.
  • You are dependable and understand the important role you play in supporting passengers’ daily routines
  • You communicate effectively, with intermediate to advanced English skills (B1 to C2)
  • You keep dispatch and passengers informed about routes, stops, and any delays, making travel smooth for everyone
  • You hold a valid B or C class driver’s licence
  • You deliver excellent customer service, showing patience, empathy, and dedication to every passenger
  • You follow company policies and guidelines consistently, setting a strong example of professionalism and safety
  • You are available to work a rotating schedule Monday to Friday: (one week on the morning shift, followed by one week on the afternoon shift)


    • Week 1: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    • Week 2: 12:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
