JOB DESCRIPTION

EY3 Media are looking for a confident, hardworking and talented content creator to join our video team. We are looking for a multi-skilled, experienced candidate who is proficient with all aspects of video production including filming, editing, motion design, colour grading and animation. The ideal candidate will be passionate, innovative and organised, with a keen eye for great content and the ability to work across multiple projects at once. The role is permanent, full time and will be based at our offices in Didsbury, Manchester.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years of experience working professionally in a similar role.
  • Ability to create high quality and professional content according to brief and demonstrate the ability to work on video projects for a variety of different clients and placements.
  • Understanding of technical post-production techniques and processes including editing, motion graphics, colour grading, animation, visual fx and live-streaming.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro and After Effects, as well as colour grading, audio and other post-production software.
  • Understanding of core filmmaking techniques such as composition, lighting and framing, to create stylish and cinematic frames as well as the ability to capture cinematic content.
  • Proficiency in motion design and creation of motion graphics and animated assets.
  • Proficiency in the use of a range of production equipment including cameras (especially the Sony range), sound equipment and lighting.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative ideas and solutions within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, collaborating with other team members and taking direction from senior management and creative leads
  • Experience working as part of a crew on productions
  • Candidates will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and commitment alongside being able to be forward thinking, solution-focused and innovative.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective time management and punctuality.
  • Attention to detail within data management
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Ability to travel internationally

Responsibilities
  • Working as part of the video production team to create premium visual assets.
  • All aspects of pre-production including but not limited to script development, creation of storyboards and equipment management.
  • All aspects of video production including but not limited to camera operation, drone piloting, sound recording, lighting setup and management.
  • All aspects of the post-production process including but not limited to video editing, sound design, motion design, visual FX, colour grading, motion graphics and animation
  • Working to deadlines and ensuring good time management.
  • Taking direction from the creative lead to fully realise the vision of the project.
  • Providing additional support to the wider team where required.
