DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

Hours: 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked; making a total of 35 working hours per week.

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Video Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality, and platform-optimised video content for MCC across multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on social-first, short-form formats. This role will play a key part in ideating, filming, editing, and delivering content that showcases Lord’s and MCC at their very best.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Video Content Creator will produce a variety of content, from matchday vertical videos to behind-the-scenes features, designed to perform on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms. They will work to tight deadlines, ensuring all output is on-brand, innovative, and optimised for audience engagement.
The successful candidate will be digitally native, with an instinct for trends, storytelling, and fast-turnaround creative delivery. They will collaborate closely with colleagues across the business to position MCC and Lord’s as leaders in sports content creation.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short- and long-form video content, with a primary focus on social-first formats (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Contribute to the creative direction of projects, bringing fresh ideas for trend-led, reactive, and evergreen content.
  • Support the delivery of a content production roadmap, ensuring all work aligns with MCC’s brand guidelines and campaign priorities.
  • Optimise content for each platform, including aspect ratios, captions, hooks, to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager, wider digital team, and other departments to ensure seamless content execution across MCC’s channels.
  • Operate a range of video, audio, and lighting equipment on both match and non-match days.
  • Capture and edit player, fan, and behind-the-scenes interviews for a variety of MCC projects.
  • Provide additional video support to the Production Manager and the wider team when required.
