Achievers is seeking a Video Content Creator to support the planning and execution of our social media and digital marketing strategies. In 2024, we jump-started our video program and have made significant progress, but there’s still much to achieve. We view video as a crucial element for brand awareness and demand generation, and we aim to maintain our momentum in producing memorable and engaging content. Additionally, we believe video serves as an internal motivator, boosting the morale of our sales team and the entire company. We are looking for an individual who can convey the passion and exceptional content we wish to share with the world.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be proficient video editing (3 or more years of experience)
  • Must have experience filming with mirrorless cameras (such as a Canon R5 or Sony A7Siii)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in content creation tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must currently reside in Toronto or within commuting distance
Responsibilities

Video Content Creation:

  • Preplan, film, and edit engaging video content for various social media platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Dive into the world of HR and understand key rewards and recognition concepts to communicate
  • Apply brand standards to ensure a consistent brand look and feel

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to create visually appealing graphics, images, and other assets to accompany videos
  • Work with other members of the content team to assist in writing scripts and brainstorm goals and concepts of videos
  • Partner with company stakeholders in other departments to arrange shoots, gather talent, or obtain permissions

Campaign Support:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (SEM ads, SEO initiatives, Email blasts, Field Events)
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Research and Trends:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in online video and digital marketing
  • Provide insights on emerging platforms and technologies for potential adoption

Social Media Support

  • Assist in managing and monitoring Achievers’ social media accounts
  • Engage with our online community, respond to comments, and foster positive interactions
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports
  • Analyze data to gain insights and recommend strategies for optimization
