POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong visual storytelling ability and is skilled in editing a variety of video content for digital platforms, including promotional videos, social media reels, interviews, and event recaps. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, adding effects, music, and graphics, and delivering high-quality, engaging videos that align with our brand and messaging goals.

• Editing high-quality content and media for both clients and Algonquin Digital promotions
• Collaborating with other members of our creative team to plan and create high-quality, engaging content
• Editing video content with excellence, so that it engages and retains viewers on whatever platform it’s created to target (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, website, etc.)
• Creating video content that communicates effectively, targeting desired audiences and outcomes.
• Other responsibilities as required
