Description

JOB DETAILS

At Origin, we are the UK’s leading manufacturer of luxury aluminium bi-folding doors and windows known for our precision engineering and industry leading innovations.
We are looking for a talented Video Editor and Brand Creative to take ownership of post-production across our marketing video content. In addition to editing video content, this role will take on lower-level creative tasks previously outsourced to agencies – including reworking images, creating social and digital assets, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we visually communicate as a brand, bringing raw footage captured by our In-house Videographer to life through dynamic editing that engages both B2C and B2B audiences across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Video Editing: Edit high-quality videos from concept to final delivery using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and other relevant tools. This includes promotional videos, social shorts, product showcases, customer testimonials, and podcast-style content.
  • Asset Management: Organise and manage video libraries, project files, and digital assets in a structured and efficient way, ensuring content is easily accessible and version-controlled.
  • Creative Input: Collaborate with videographer, designers and the wider marketing team to enhance storytelling through effective pacing, sound design, colour grading and visual effects.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content reflects Origin’s tone of voice, brand identity and quality standards across platforms.
  • Repurposing Content: Re-edit long-form video into bite-sized social content optimised for platform-specific formats and behaviours.
  • Motion Graphics: Create and integrate motion graphics, title cards, subtitles and transitions as needed.
  • Trend Awareness: Keep up to date with evolving video trends, editing techniques, and social media behaviours to ensure our content stays relevant and engaging.
  • Feedback & Revisions: Respond constructively to feedback and carry out rounds of amends efficiently, while maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Support in Production: Assist the Videographer during shoots and on location when needed – including equipment setup, cleaning the products being shot to make them video ready, helping as required / packing up equipment for transportation.
  • Rework and optimise still images using the appropriate software, creating versions in different aspect ratios (e.g. 1:1, 9:16, 16:9) for use across digital and print channels while maintaining brand integrity and visual impact across digital and print touchpoints.
  • Develop static and animated social media assets, display banners, internal comms visuals, event graphics, and presentation visuals using Canva; work confidently within Canva Brand Hub to maintain brand standards; create marketing collateral, reducing agency reliance.
  • Videographer: There may be times when we would require footage to be captured using the Sony FX3, on site training can be provided by our Videographer if needed.
