McKesson’s Medical Surgical Marketing Team is growing! We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion Graphic Designer / Video Editor to join our dynamic creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing ideas to life through animation and video, and who is passionate about visual storytelling across a variety of media formats.
You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating compelling visual content for a wide range of projects, including narrative videos, product demos, explainers, brand campaigns, event graphics, and promotional assets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of relevant experience

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and video editing work.
• Excellent creative and artistic skills with a sharp eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of video editing principles and techniques.

PREFERRED SKILLS (BONUS):

• Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Maya.
• Live video shooting capabilities, including knowledge of digital cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  Education: 4 year degree required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Computer and phone-based work
• Home Office environment with 3 to 3 days a month spent in the main Richmond, VA office
• 2 trips a year (out of state 3 to 4 days each)

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop motion graphics and animations that align with project goals and brand identity.
• Create storyboards, visual concepts, and design layouts based on project briefs.
• Design and animate elements such as typography, logos, icons, and illustrations to enhance storytelling.
• Edit and assemble video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Stay current with trends in motion design, animation, and video editing to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Manage project assets and maintain organized file structures for efficient workflow.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  Hybrid Role: This position will require 2 to 3 days a month working in our Richmond VA office
  Travel: The Marketing team attends 2 large meetings each year that will require 3 to 4 days of travel each
