About the Job We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing Marketing team. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into visually engaging, on-brand video content for multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical editing skills, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Editing & Post-Production Edit raw video footage into compelling, polished videos optimized for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS). Perform color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitling to enhance overall video quality. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and branding across all content. Ensure all final outputs meet platform specifications and are optimized for engagement and reach. Creative Collaboration Work closely with the Videographer, Creative, and Social Media teams to bring storyboards and concepts to life. Provide creative input on visual direction, pacing, and storytelling. Support weekly content production cycles — from short-form reels to long-form marketing videos. Workflow & Asset Management Manage and organize media files, project archives, and version control. Ensure efficient editing workflows and proper file backups. Collaborate with other editors to maintain a consistent editing standard across projects. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay updated on social media video trends, editing tools, and visual effects techniques. Suggest and test new editing styles or formats to improve engagement and content performance. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in video editing or related creative production. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (or equivalent tools). Strong understanding of storytelling, visual pacing, and transitions. Knowledge of aspect ratios, compression, and file formats for digital platforms. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Keen eye for detail and aesthetics. A portfolio or showreel showcasing your editing work is required.
