Description Polytek® Development Corp. is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Camera Operator to join our growing content team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who loves producing high-quality video content — from behind the camera to the editing suite. You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative teams to plan, shoot, and edit engaging videos that showcase our products, projects, and people. This is a hybrid position -- You’ll spend at least two days per week in our Seguin, TX content studio, where you’ll film in our workshop and collaborate with team members. The rest of the week, you can work remotely editing, collaborating on storyboards, and attending virtual meetings. Essential Job Functions: Major tasks and other key responsibilities include: Film high-quality video content in our Seguin studio and workshop space. Edit videos for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns using Adobe Premiere Pro. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and storyboards. Maintain organized project files, footage libraries, and media assets. Participate in regular team meetings (in-person and remote). Travel occasionally (up to 15%) for on-location shoots and events. Ensure all videos meet brand, quality, and technical standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer. Must be able to work in a studio environment. Must be able to talk, hear and see with vision abilities including close/near, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing areas. Education and Experience: Must be able to understand, speak, write, and read English. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Proven experience as a video editor and camera operator. Strong portfolio demonstrating camera and editing skills. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus). Experience creating content for YouTube and/or other social platforms. Bonus: Experience producing videos for paid media marketing. Excellent sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Must be available for at least 2 days onsite weekly in Seguin, TX.
