ECS Tuning is seeking an enthusiastic Video Editor/Videographer to create automotive content and media assets for branding, product, marketing, and other efforts. In this role, the team member will collaborate with the product brand team, R&D, HR, and the marketing team to produce high quality video content. This candidate will leverage a deep working knowledge of creating engaging content using editing and motion graphics software as well as DSLR video cameras, lighting and sound production. This person will work under the supervision of the media department’s team lead and work on continuous improvement principles to balance quality and drive efficiency in workflows. RESPONSIBILITIES: Efficiently use Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom to create engaging stories with eye catching graphics. Efficiently use Modern Mirrorless/Cinema video cameras, action cameras, gimbals rigs, LED lighting, lavalier and boom microphones to capture content. Collaborate with internal teams from conception to completion on each project Develop content ideas for social media channels Be accountable for daily workflow, project planning and shoot schedule Responsible for final video assets - styling, cleanliness, compositions, post production, etc. Determine lighting requirements, equipment needs, background, props and product set up as well as any additional specifications to ensure quality shooting Ability to capture footage in a variety of spaces and locations for product, marketing, and corporate needs Ability to manipulate lighting for specific effects and scenarios in studio and in the field Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and for studio productions Organization of Media Assets Requirements BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Creativity and enthusiasm BA or BFA in media production or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in videography/video editing Proficient in Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop & Lightroom Proficient with modern video cameras and hardware required A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in applied techniques and working knowledge of videography, lighting, composition and postproduction In-depth knowledge of lighting and lighting systems, especially for specific effects and scenarios Equipment savvy with knowledge of lenses, microphones, etc. Knowledge of video file formats and codecs Social/digital media experience a plus Professional attitude at all times Reliable with the ability to adapt to changing conditions Ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environment Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize/multi-task and follow projects through to completion Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work on projects solo or with a team Excellent people skills Moderate physical activity. Some knowledge of the European car market, specifically Volkswagen, Audi and BMW Enthusiasm for the automotive industry is a plus WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: A thorough understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom.
