• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle
• A strong portfolio of short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Stories) that drives engagement
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and emerging tools like CapCut
• Excellent eye for composition, color, pacing, and editing to rhythm
• Strong visual sense and understanding of beauty and aspirational lifestyle aesthetics
• Passion for storytelling with a social-first approach
• Solid grasp of platform-specific formats, nuances, and best practices
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Gisou is born out of a passion for bees, haircare and natural beauty. Based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, each Gisou product is inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden. With this method, our founder Negin and her father continue the family tradition of beekeeping. Our hair care and complexion products harness the transformative benefits of Mirsalehi Honey and rich botanical sources, selected to enhance ones natural beauty.
We are committed to a bee-friendly & sustainable production method that puts the Mirsalehi Honey Bees first, not only for the sake of the bees, but the greater ecosystem as well. In the upcoming years, we intend to continue to develop high-quality honey infused beauty products as we develop a globally renowned label and raise awareness about the importance of a healthy bee population.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Edit engaging video content for Gisou’s social media platforms, campaigns, and product launches
• Create detailed storyboards and support on-set production to ensure creative alignment
• Transform raw footage into polished videos that reflect our brand’s visual identity, tone, and style
• Collaborate closely with the Social team within Creative to produce high-performing short-form content
• Localize and adapt videos for various platforms (e.g., advertisements, Instagram Stories, Reels, TikTok)
• Enhance videos with creative transitions, effects, and text overlays to bring motion to our social presence
• Stay up to date with beauty, cultural, and social media trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and shareable
