Description

About the Role
The Lion Project is looking for a highly creative, strategic, and detail-driven video editor/graphic designer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who lives at the intersection of visual storytelling and marketing strategy. Someone who can turn ideas into scroll-stopping graphics and videos that tell stories and generate results.
As our in-house creative powerhouse, you’ll work closely with our Marketing Director to deeply understand our clients brand and goals, then bring those visions to life across video and digital platforms. From first concepts to final cut, you’ll bring design thinking to everything you create.

What You’ll Do

  • Design visually compelling content across brand, social, and digital with graphics, and video campaigns.
  • Edit and produce short- and long-form video content using tools like Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve integrating motion graphics and effects.
  • Present concepts and revisions to the Marketing Director confidently, incorporating feedback to align with brand and objectives.
  • Stay ahead of trends in design, video, and digital marketing, bringing fresh, relevant ideas to the table.
  • Manage a content calendar to ensure timely, consistent content delivery across channels.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with internal teams to manage expectations and maintain alignment.

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video storytelling, plus digital and branded content.
  • Proficient in:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience working with multiple brands and clients across various industries.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Comfortable managing feedback, and representing the creative process with confidence.
  • Bonus points for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Design, Visual Arts, or related field
  • Storytelling in the non profit space

Who You Are

  • You take extreme ownership of your work from start to finish.
  • You think like a strategist, not just a creative.
  • You’re a natural problem solver with a drive to learn, grow, and lead.
  • You have entrepreneurial energy and you take initiative and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • You’re sales- and customer-oriented, with a keen sense of how creative supports growth.
  • You’re flexible, coachable, and excited to evolve with a high performance team.
  • Willing to be in office when requested.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote position (applicant must be in Denver area)
  • A team of smart, open-minded creatives and strategists
  • Opportunities to move into leadership roles as we grow
  • Ongoing development and mentorship
  • A startup culture that’s fast, agile, and full of opportunity
  • Flexible work/life balance and a culture that respects boundaries

Compensation

  • $25/hr
  • 6 month performance review
  • Ongoing salary increases tied to performance and company benchmarks
