We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will be responsible for editing video content that engages our audience and enhances our brand’s message. This role requires proficiency in various editing software and an understanding of graphic design principles.

This internship is an opportunity to help us launch and scale a movement—where Hip Hop culture, social consciousness, entrepreneurship, academia, and spiritual insight meet.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Video Producer / Editor Intern who can wear two hats:

• Editor: Take raw 4K footage and craft cinematic, engaging 10–15 minute podcast episodes plus 60–90 second Shorts/Reels.
• Producer-in-Training: Support pre-production and show logistics (shot prep, asset management, episode planning), with the opportunity to grow into a full Producer / Showrunner role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Video Editing (Core Focus Initially):
• Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube & audio platforms.
• Cut 5–7 short-form clips per episode (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn).
• Add branded lower-thirds, overlays, checklists, and motion graphics.
• Balance audio (voice, music bed, stings) for polished delivery.
• Production Support (Growth Track):
• Assist in pre-shoot setup (lights, sound check, set styling).
• Manage content calendar + episode tracker.
• Prepare on-screen assets (titles, checklists, quotes, CTA overlays).
• Shadow live recording days to learn directing & showrunning.
