VIDEO & EDITORIAL INTEGRATION LEAD - TIMES MEDIA
The Team: This role is a key part of the Times Media Brand Sales Team, a cross-platform team responsible for selling across multiple channels, including papers, digital, podcasts, and magazines. The brand sales team sits at the core of our commercial function, acting as experts on our multi-platform products, audiences, and channels. This role sits within the digital specialist team within the brand team, and is a newly created role, focusing on growing direct & programmatic video and digital partnership revenues.
Your Role: As Times Media continues to experience exponential growth in digital revenues and execute a digital-first brand strategy, our plans for the next five years remain ambitious and forward-looking. We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven sales lead with a strong background in video & pro-active digital partnership sales across all core channels. The role will set our strategy & drive our video sales and solutions across all agencies & client direct. We have recently launched sponsored editorial video series and a newly combined Times Media VOD network & have multiple opportunities to create compelling and engaging, original video content for brands that lend itself perfectly for increased partnerships.
A key part of this role will entail helping to develop and launch Times Media’s CTV solution—creating the commercial proposition, taking it to market, and ensuring it is fully integrated into broader video sales efforts. In collaboration with editorial teams, you will develop and pitch new ideas for commercially viable video franchises, aligning content creation with sales strategies to drive revenue growth. This role will work very closely with the Strategy Director, Sales Director, and Director of Video, reporting into the Head of Digital Sales. The successful candidate will support brand sales, partnerships, and Times Media’s commercial department as a whole with their specialist knowledge and contacts, accelerating all video & proactive digital partnership revenues.
