DigiStream Investigations, a fast-growing, national private investigation firm, is seeking a talented addition to our investigative team in Fredericksburg, VA. Job Summary:   The Video Evidence Processor will process videos submitted by the investigative staff and duplicate videotape evidence obtained during a possible fraudulent disability, liability or workers’ compensation claim on behalf of insurance companies, government entities, defense attorneys and third-party administrators (TPAs). The Video Evidence Processor is responsible for compiling and archiving video evidence to be used in court proceedings, as well as preparing daily video highlight reels for customers. The Video Evidence Processor is expected to maintain the flow of evidence through the office, backup video data, and update sensitive information on a daily basis. Additionally, the Video Evidence Processor will help edit written reports submitted by the investigative staff and enter customer referrals into the company database as needed.   Responsibilities:   - Edit video footage for Next Day Video™ Service - Maintaining and auditing the integrity and accuracy of video data - Assisting investigative staff with identification of subject captured in video - Managing inventory of video archiving supplies - Store and back-up digital video evidence  - Track and maintain videotape inventory - Coordinate and manage output of video - Operate video duplication equipment with efficiency - Promptly handle and secure evidence - Work under a deadline and multi-task - Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Requirements:   - Bachelor’s Degree required (Film, Multi-media, or other media intensive major preferred) - Ability to commute to our office in Fredericksburg, VA - Must be able to type 50+ words per minute - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents - Exceptional written, and oral communication skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality of information - Work in a team environment with inside and outside staff - Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Nero Suite, Microsoft Office Suite is preferred    Work Conditions:   - Sitting for extended periods - Keyboarding  - Viewing computer monitor - Lifting up to 25 lbs. Work Schedule:   - Monday- Friday, in office - Full-time, 40 hours per week
