JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking two highly focused and observant individuals to join our team as Video Monitoring Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for remote video monitoring. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to take quick and effective action when necessary. this role is crucial in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring CCTV systems, identifying potential threats, and implementing loss prevention strategies. Candidates with a background in law enforcement or related fields will find this position particularly rewarding.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Previous experience in video monitoring, central station experience, or security operations is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple video feeds for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to stay focused and alert during overnight shifts.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus.
  • Work Schedule: Overnight shifts, averaging 70 hours every two weeks. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required. Follows rotational/continental schedule

Responsibilities
  • Video Surveillance: Monitor CCTV and video feeds throughout the shift to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ properties.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain vigilance for any unusual or suspicious activity, ensuring that all incidents are identified and addressed immediately.
  • Incident Reporting: In the event of an incident or security breach, document and report the occurrence promptly, ensuring clear and accurate communication with relevant parties (security team, management, clients, etc.).
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with supervisors, emergency responders, and other relevant parties to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ensure that all actions, reports, and communications are done within the appropriate time frames.
  • On-Site Presence: This is an on-site position that requires being physically present at the monitoring facility throughout the shift.
  • Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities and incidents for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in training staff on security protocols and best practices related to surveillance operations.
  • Respond promptly to alarms or alerts, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
