HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Video Production Assistant for the Video Programming & Production Department will support field and studio video production. They will assist producers, editors, and production management in day-to- day studio and field shoots and pre-production. The Video Production Assistant will log in the field team’s house gear, identify missing/broken parts, organize the gear closet and track gear in tandem with the studio team’s gear tracker. They will also assist in archiving footage from the field team’s old drives. Responsibilities
  • Edit clips for organic and paid social.
  • Work with the video/social team to assure all edits are delivered on time.
  • Pull archival footage, transcribe and assist in media management.
  • Occasionally help field shoots; including set up, camera operation and media management, under the direction of a video production lead.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of field gear.
  • Conduct daily quality check on SXM app.
  • Aid in on-going department administrative needs.
  • Support producers and editors in all aspects of video production.
  • Helps execute video production and post-production for live in-studio and off-site content captures, digital exclusives, direct-to-cameras, and different content capture requests.
  • Edits own video content as well as content shot by others. Should have experience with sound design, audio mixing, color correcting, and editing specs for different content and delivery platforms.
  • Oversees the backup, uploads, and delivery of all raw and edited video footage. Archives and retrieves footage requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel may be required.
