Job Title: Video Production Specialist
Salary Range: $44,000-48,000
Reports to: Creative Services Director
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt (Salary)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Video Production Specialist supports the video production team through a blend of logistical coordination and hands-on production work. This role is critical in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with both client expectations and agency standards—while also contributing to the technical execution of video content and live events when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in video production, communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in production coordination or multimedia content creation.
  • Experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and camera operation is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with production environments, including studio, field, and live event settings.
  • Interest in purpose-driven, multicultural, or public-sector communications.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of video production logistics, including booking locations, talent, crew, gear, and securing permits.
  • Develop and manage production schedules in collaboration with producers, creative, and account teams.
  • Serve as on-set support to ensure shoots run smoothly and all logistics are in place.
  • Provide production support for live events, including press conferences, media events, and streaming or virtual press events.
  • Maintain organized digital archives for all video projects.
  • Track and coordinate with external production vendors and freelancers.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, tracking expenses, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Represent the agency at meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Contribute to agency new business efforts by supporting pitch materials or video-related content.
  • Support basic camera operation and post-production editing using industry-standard tools.
