Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Video Production Specialist will work with the current video production designer and marketing. This position will be responsible for the planning, shooting, and editing videos including, but not limited to, product videos, training videos, and 'how-to' videos, as well as help plan and produce live webinars. This person will be responsible for shaping the visual aspect of one of the leading safety companies in the industry, creating exciting and impactful work for the industrial safety market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: · Filming video on set and on location · Working with creative, sales, and product teams to plan video shoots · Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment · Planning and shooting B-roll · Editing footage after recording, adding graphics and b-roll as needed · Live webinar support · Set preparation for in-studio shoots · Photography skills/knowledge a plus · Digital marketing skills (email, social media, etc.) a plus Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · High school diploma or equivalent required · 5 years’ experience in video production and editing and have “an eye for layout and graphic design” · Must be MAC literate and have strong Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premier, Adobe AfterEffects) emphasis. · Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments · Multitasking skills for working on multiple projects at once · Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail · Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the production team · Knowledge of post-production techniques · Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods · Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting
