Description
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor computer workstations, emergency systems, access control and other security monitoring systems as applicable.
  • Operate and control the CCTV monitoring equipment, and any future additions to that equipment, as directed by the Operations Manager and/or Supervisor.
  • Take responsibility for people on site, ensuring that intruders are identified and dealt with swiftly and effectively.
  • Answer incoming calls made to the CCTV Control Room by the Police, customers or any other agencies and ensure that information is only given to those with the requisite permissions.
  • Act always in accordance with procedures laid down within the approved operational CCTV Code of Practice.
  • Provide a polite, professional and effective security service to our customers.
  • Always keep the CCTV monitoring and related equipment in a clean and tidy condition and ensure that other operators have complied with this with reference to their workstations
  • Always Comply with the Mobile Patrol Handbook guidelines.
  • Always Follow Assignment Instructions.
  • Undertake all duties required of a Guard to ensure the safety and security of any site attended.
  • Manage risks and incidents as required, in accordance with available health & safety information.
  • Providing a polite, professional and effective security service to our customers.
  • Always wear the provided uniform and equipment, keeping this clean and tidy.
  • Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the work area, equipment and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the work area.
  • Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
  • Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company
