This selection exercise may be used to generate a roster of pre-approved candidates to address future staffing needs for similar functions in any of the Departments and Offices of the Organization.

Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
- Completed secondary education - Formal training in electronics at a recognized institute (e.g. Berufschule, Associate University degree, Höhere Technische Lehranstalt) an asset.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in electronics including experience with closed circuit video systems, digital video and recording systems, computerized digital image processing and storage, and digital networks.
- Experience in testing or trouble shooting equipment problems in the field.
- Knowledge of and experience with electrical instrumentation, electrical design principles, network-based monitoring equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in writing technical documentation in English.
- Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
- GS testing may be part of the process.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 64965 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks’ annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
