Description

We are looking for a creative, driven, and hands-on Videographer & Content Manager to join our growing media team. You’ll be working directly with me (Founder/CEO) and our remote video editor to create, manage, and roll out high-quality content across three brands:

  • DBM – Our company brand in the building materials industry
  • Built by Taran Podcast – A business-first podcast interviewing entrepreneurs and business owners, with additional discussions on health, wealth, social self, and spiritual enrichment
  • Personal Brand – Lifestyle, business, and entrepreneurial content

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a videographer, content creator, or similar role.
  • Skilled with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
  • Creative eye for storytelling and content strategy.
  • Ability to self-manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Bonus: Experience in podcast/video podcast production.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Sydney. You will be responsible for filming, directing, and managing content creation, while coordinating with our remote editor to ensure smooth delivery. You’ll also handle posting, scheduling, and content performance across multiple platforms.
We’re looking for someone who can think creatively, keep up with social media trends, and manage projects from concept to publishing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Filming: Capture high-quality video and audio content for podcasts, interviews, and branded content.
  • Creative Direction: Plan shoots, contribute ideas, and ensure brand consistency.
  • Content Management: Coordinate with the remote editor for timely delivery of edits.
  • Publishing: Post and schedule content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Copywriting: Write engaging captions and titles tailored for each platform.
  • Analytics: Track performance (views, engagement, growth) and suggest improvements.
  • Brand Growth: Work closely with the CEO to roll out a consistent and professional media presence.
