ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for an experienced videographer/photographer to join our creative team.
Working at our McSport Head Office in Ballymount, you’ll be shooting & editing photos featuring our full range of sports, strength and conditioning equipment.
In this exciting role you’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality images of products and creating visually engaging content for digital and print. This office based role involves shooting, editing, and retouching images & video to meet brand standards, ensuring all content is optimised for digital and print platforms. Working closely with the marketing team, you will help produce compelling content that enhances the brand’s presence.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Creative Visual Content: Capture high-quality product and lifestyle photography and video, showcasing our own brand sports and fitness equipment in action - both clean product shots and powerful, human-centric imagery.
  • End-to-End Production: Plan, direct, shoot, and edit campaign content - ads, web, social media, showroom, and influencer activations.
  • Full Studio Management: Collaborate with our buying team/marketing team on incoming product for the photography calendar, organise equipment, manage the in-house studio and ensure readiness for each shoot.
  • Asset Management: Maintain our branded asset library and keep visuals easily accessible to internal teams.
  • On-Set Leadership: Direct models/athletes (often using heavy gear), ensuring compelling and safe presentation of strength and fitness narratives.
  • Post-Production & Design: Edit video and photo content, perform retouching, and collaborate in creating campaign graphics (experience with Adobe Suite, After Effects, Lightroom, Premiere Pro is a strong asset).
  • Innovation & Technical Edge: Stay current with videography/photography trends, emerging tools (including AI-augmented editing), and bring creative enhancements to our content workflows.
  • Collaboration & Commercial Focus: Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to align visuals with campaign goals, deadlines, and brand messaging.

Organised & Detail-Oriented: Efficient in managing assets, schedules, and workflows across campaigns. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Design Fluency: Graphic design skills are a strong plus.
  • Passion for Fitness: Enthusiasm for strength, fitness, and a sporty lifestyle that translates into authentic content.
  • Driver’s License: Full, clean license essential for transporting gear/products and attending off-site shoots
