Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer and Video Editor role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves planning and executing video shoots, including pre-production tasks such as concept development, storyboarding, and coordinating locations and equipment. On a day-to-day basis, the Videographer and Video Editor will capture high-quality footage, manage lighting and sound, and ensure all content aligns with digitalnet.io’s brand and project objectives. The role also includes editing videos, adding graphics, music, and effects, optimizing content for various digital platforms, and collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to meet timelines and quality standards. The team member will maintain organized media libraries, stay current with industry trends and editing techniques, and contribute ideas to enhance the visual storytelling of digitalnet.io’s content.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in video production, including camera operation, composition, lighting, and audio recording for a range of formats (e.g., promotional videos, social media content, interviews, and product demos).
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, including color correction, sound mixing, and basic motion graphics.
- Experience with pre-production processes such as concept development, scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, aspect ratios, and best practices for optimizing video content for web and mobile audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Portfolio showcasing videography and editing work that demonstrates visual storytelling, attention to detail, and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Familiarity with photography, graphic design, or animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator) is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language proficiency in Arabic is a plus for local content and collaboration.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and occasionally outside standard hours to accommodate shoots, events, or tight production schedules.
