Experienced Video Editor – Social Media & Digital Marketing

$40 per hour + Super | Full-Time | Port Melbourne / Hybrid | Immediate Start

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a highly experienced, creative and motivated Video Editor to join our growing media and marketing team.

This is a full-time position, working 4 days per week from our Port Melbourne office and 1 day remotely.

You'll work alongside a talented team of videographers, editors, content creators and marketing professionals to produce exciting, high-quality video content across multiple brands and digital platforms.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work and can turn raw footage into engaging content that captures attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Editing: Create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Digital Advertising: Edit high-quality video advertisements designed to capture attention, generate engagement and drive conversions.
• Promotional Content: Produce exciting videos for marketing campaigns, giveaways, events and product launches.
• Long-Form Content: Assist with YouTube videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes content and other productions.
• Raw Footage Editing: Review, select, trim and transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with our media and marketing teams to bring exciting new ideas to life.
• Motion Graphics: Incorporate captions, animations, transitions, sound effects and other creative elements.
• Team Support: Help manage the company's ongoing editing workload, ensuring content is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

• Highly experienced Video Editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar software.
• Strong understanding of social media content, trends and what makes videos perform well.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Someone who can follow clear direction while using common sense and initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail, storytelling and pacing.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Someone who takes ownership of their workload and doesn't require constant supervision.
