Description

Blackberg Group is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to support video, photography, and multimedia production for a defense client. The Specialist will develop compelling visual content that showcases the command’s research initiatives across multiple platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional experience in multimedia production, videography, or photography.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Communications, or related field.
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Experience producing multimedia content for multiple platforms (web, events, social media).
  • Ability to capture and edit high-quality video and photography under tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience supporting DHA, DoD, or the Military Health System.
  • Experience producing video and photo content for senior federal or military leadership.
  • Familiarity with military communications protocols and approval processes.

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Generate topic-centric videos to be used in various formats (i.e. PowerPoint briefs, YouTube videos, trade shows, websites, etc.) that highlight the command’s initiatives.
  • Capture high-quality, compelling photographs at official events; edit photos and deliver files in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the ability to take well-composed photos while covering events, conduct basic photo editing, and select best possible photos to accompany articles and social media posts. Capture high-quality headshots for senior leaders & command team as required.
  • Capture high-quality, compelling videos; edit videos and deliver files in a timely manner.
  • Capture video interviews with subject matter experts as needed, as well as additional “B-roll” footage from visits, events, and scenarios.
  • Regularly propose new content ideas working with contractor and Government teammates to highlight the command’s research initiatives.
  • Maintain an internal catalog of video content which can be utilized in a variety of products.
  • Maintain and populate social media sites with militarily relevant content after close coordination with communications team.
