About the Position The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking for a Videographer to shoot, edit and create video features and content for various distribution touch points. Topics include behind-the-scenes coverage of the team on game days, Warriors community events and sponsorship activation videos. In this role, you will work within brand guidelines to ensure that all content is consistent and accurate while bringing platform appropriate creativity and personality to each project. This position reports to the Manager, Marketing. NOTE: Candidates must have a demo reel that demonstrates both shooting and editing experience. This is a full-time position based onsite in Santa Cruz, CA. Key Responsibilities Operate cameras and set up lighting on production shoots as needed Assist in developing short-form video features for the teams’ digital channels Capture high-speed game, practice action, and press conferences on video Shoot events and concerts at Kaiser Permanente Arena as needed Maintain all video equipment and look for new video production equipment to use Collaborate with Warriors Studio on special projects involving Golden State Warriors talent Identify, conceptualize and complete feature content in a timely manner Collaborate with internal departments to create/edit features, promotional spots, & video contents Stay current on video technologies and industry trends; make recommendations to continually innovate and improve operations and enhance the video experience of Santa Cruz Warriors content Coordinate video assets to ensure post-production workflow stays on course Other duties as assigned Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree, preferably in video/film production, or equivalent work experience Minimum 1 year in video production, ideally in the or the sports industry Experience in videography, photojournalism, or a visual story-telling; experience with various lighting techniques and setups Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Premiere, and Creative Cloud; knowledge of documentary videos styles and techniques Ability to operate digital cinema cameras for production shoots (RED Gemini, Sony FS7, FS5, A7s) Self-Starter with the ability to handle production shoots independently; ability to identify, shoot and produce compelling content across all platforms Proficiency with motion graphics creation Ability to work in fast-paced work environment Time Commitment Ability to travel periodically including non-traditional work hours Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, working game nights, working early mornings, late nights and weekends with possible overnight shifts as needed Compensation $28.00 Per Hour + Bonus Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents Employer 401K match Vacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves Warriors home tickets, team store discount and more!
