DEFINITION VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate (d/f/m) with a university degree in the area of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study,
• Strong background in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics,
• Good knowledge of CFD methods,
• Good knowledge of multiphase flow problems and simulation methods,
• Knowledge of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ is beneficial,
• Fluent in English.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Entry Level

• Literature research and familiarization with relevant multiphase flow problems,
• Development of multiphase CFD models including phase change,
• Thorough analysis of the observed multiphase flow phenomena,
• Aerodynamic design with special consideration of multiphase flow effects,
• Documentation.
