You will be part of a team of ten people working on a variety of topics : automation, alternative transmission systems, artificial intelligence, application technology, etc.

Join us in shaping the future of road construction through the following main missions:

• You will work on the development of highly automated systems for mobile machinery
• You will focus on the deployment of autonomous machines
• You will highlight the potential of automation solutions (driving, steering, operational functions)
• You will develop evaluation criteria for the performance of automated machines in real-world applications
• You will create solutions that can be integrated into existing machinery and guide them through to the development of a prototype.

Tools and technologies used : Matlab, Python, MS Office, ROS2, Linux

What you bring to the table:

• Experience in the fields of mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar
• Practical experience in the implementation of automation solutions is an advantage
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, with a willingness to learn German
• Strong skills in presenting and organizing information (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Self-motivation and initiative to collaborate with internal and external partners
• Independent and structured working style
• Interest in and affinity for mobile machinery and their operational processes

Location Details : The position is based at our headquarters in Boppard, Germany.
Duration : 12 months (renewable for +12 months)
