CO2 SEQUESTRATION MISSION DESCRIPTION:

  • Data management of the group’s sequesterable CO2 emissions.
  • Identification of accessible and competitive CO2 sinks globally
  • ranking in time and costs the different sequestration routes and geographies
  • Built-up of a knowledge pool regarding CO2 sequestration technicalities.
  • prepare RFI’s, Analysis and review of CO2 sinks & offers.
  • Organization of the regular exchange & update meetings with the different Air Liquide hubs & clusters
  • Adapt quickly to the new energy transition topics that will come-up in a fast moving environment.
  • Benchmark and analysis of cutting-edge tools used in the market
  • keeping track of all WW AL sink discussions and T&C’s

ENERGY TRANSITION MISSION DESCRIPTION:

  • Tracking/ranking of available techno-economic solutions to achieve Air Liquide’s decarbonisation targets (e.g. renewable processes vs. low-carbon processes)

EDUCATION:

  • Engineering Background
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • Specialization in Geology, Energy, climate, power, business, finance

SOFT AND HARD SKILLS:

  • Ability to analyze and understand complex problems.
  • Interest and knowledge of industrial climate and energy topics.
  • stong (written) communication skills and being able to quickly and shortly synthesize
  • Understanding of financial instruments in techno-economic assessments.
  • Strong data analysis skills from data cleaning to clear visualizations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to rally teams around shared goals.
  • Ability to juggle multiple work-streams in a fast-paced environment.
