JOB DESCRIPTION

Seureca Overseas is about to start a project for TAQA Water Solutions. TAQA Water Solutions (formerly SWS) is responsible for wastewater collection & treatment services in Abu Dhabi.
The treated effluent has a high level of salinity, which affects the development of the TSE (Wastewater reuse) business
Through an operational consultancy project, TAQA WS wants to identify the sources of salinity and reduce them - through work supervision - to an acceptable level (<1,500 ppm).
Seureca Overseas will mobilise an experienced and skilled project team to develop this project.

The VIE Engineer will support the project team and will be mainly involved in the following projects:

  • Data Collection
  • Hydraulic Modelling
  • GIS Analysis
  • Organisation of measurement campaign
  • Wastewater networks

For these projects the VIE will therefore be involved with the following related technical services:

  • Implementation of measurement campaigns (HSE, preparation, GIS, coordination);
  • Data Analysis (SCADA, Water consumption, water table, measurements results);
  • Hydraulics of wastewater networks & Hydraulic modeling (InfoWorks ICM software)
  • Geographical Information System (GIS) database;
  • Production of deliverables such as: PPT presentations, Minutes of Meetings and Monthly Progress Reports, Technical Notes, Metrological plans, Hydraulic Reports, etc.

    In addition, the VIE may participate in the other projects as well as the preparation of proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational background: 5 years of higher education (BAC+5) / Hydraulic Engineer, water/wastewater networks modeling is a plus
Previous experience: 2/3 years water sector, water and wastewater network hydraulic, model, GIS, measurement campaign, Consulting Engineering Services.
Skills: Proficient user of software such as Office, knowledge in GIS (Arcgis, Qgis). Knowledge in hydraulic modeling is a good plus.
