Job Description: Description of the job: The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements: ● European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday) ● Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any ● Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28 For more information: https://mon-vie-via.businessfrance.fr/ (in English, German, Italian and Spanish) The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months. A VIE for a Sustainability Co-ordinator has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Singapore. You will join the SAF and Sustainability department. The VIE will be in charge of coordinating sustainability initiatives in Singapore, liaising between team members across the three main legal entities of Airbus in Singapore. Sustainability initiatives include: carbon footprint reduction ideas, social engagement, employee awareness, local support to heads of function when necessary. The scope of the role will potentially extend to cover other APAC countries at a later date. Your main tasks will include: ●Monitor, support and coordinate diverse sustainability initiatives from all Airbus entities in Singapore Research and benchmark activities of other groups in Singapore and provide ideas / suggestions / best practice sharing for further engagement of employees and sustainability awareness campaigns in coordination with the APAC head of sustainability Participate in regional coordination calls, learn from initiatives running in other countries for application in Singapore as relevant Prepare communications related to initiatives led in Singapore and ensure relevant approvals in place Coordinate the annual “Sustainability Week” event in Singapore, in cooperation with the team members in charge of this event at regional level and with the local Singapore teams and volunteers Support the deployment of Airbus sustainability roadmaps in Singapore - in support to the head of functions in charge of such roadmaps. Work can include, but is not limited, to running related procurement processes, facilitating meetings etc. Possible support to regional coordination of sustainability initiatives Possibility to become a Climate Fresk training facilitator to accelerate the deployment of this training in Singapore This role will involve some travel for business once a year in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Required skills: Holder of a bachelor's or master's degree in sustainable development or a related discipline. Vous rejoindrez le département SAF et Sustainability. Missions et responsabilités: Vous serez en charge des activités principales suivantes: Surveiller, soutenir et coordonner diverses initiatives de développement durable de toutes les entités Airbus à Singapour. Rechercher et comparer les activités d'autres groupes à Singapour et fournir des idées / suggestions / partager les meilleures pratiques pour un engagement accru des employés et des campagnes de sensibilisation à la durabilité, en coordination avec le responsable de la durabilité pour la région APAC. Participer aux appels de coordination régionaux, s'inspirer des initiatives menées dans d'autres pays pour une application pertinente à Singapour. Préparer les communications relatives aux initiatives menées à Singapour et assurer les approbations nécessaires. Coordonner l'événement annuel de la « Semaine de la Durabilité » à Singapour, en coopération avec les membres de l'équipe en charge de cet événement au niveau régional et avec les équipes et les bénévoles locaux à Singapour. Soutenir le déploiement des feuilles de route de durabilité d'Airbus à Singapour – en appui aux responsables de fonctions en charge de ces feuilles de route. Le travail peut inclure, sans s'y limiter, la gestion des processus d'approvisionnement (procurement) connexes, la facilitation des réunions, etc. Support possible à la coordination régionale des initiatives de durabilité. Possibilité de devenir un animateur de formation « La Fresque du Climat » pour accélérer le déploiement de cette formation à Singapour. Des déplacements professionnels sont à prévoir un fois par an en Europe et, de ce fait, vous devez être disposé(e) à vous déplacer en conséquence. Compétences requises: Titulaire d'un diplôme d'une licence ou d'un master dans le domaine du développement durable ou une discipline apparentée.
