Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled viennoisier—a baker specializing in fine, laminated, and enriched doughs—to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality viennoiserie. This role requires precision, consistency, and a deep understanding of fermentation, lamination, and baking techniques. We’re looking for someone who can apply classic French techniques while creatively incorporating Asian ingredients, flavours, and textures into the viennoiserie craft.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Baking: Prepare, bake, and present a variety of Filipino baked goods, including ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Recipe Development: Assist in creating and testing new recipes to keep our menu exciting and fresh, with a focus on traditional Filipino flavors and innovative twists.
  • Ingredient Management: Measure and prepare ingredients for daily baking needs. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and food safety.
  • Quality Control: Ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods, including texture, appearance, and taste.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, following all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient kitchen operation.
