POSITION OVERVIEW

The Village Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration and supervision of services delivered to residents by Village Support Officers in a retirement village. This part-time role ensures the effective coordination, quality and continuous improvement of resident services, fostering a positive and supportive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Village Support Officers, providing guidance, support and direction to ensure high-quality service delivery to residents.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of resident services, including scheduling, record-keeping and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents regarding service-related queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of support services, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided, staff rosters, and resident interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy requirements.
  • Assist with the orientation and ongoing support of new residents, ensuring they are informed about available services and village policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives based on resident feedback and service reviews.
  • Liaise with the Village Service Manager and other staff to ensure seamless communication and service coordination across the village.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant communications to residents, such as newsletters and service updates.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice industry standards in all aspects of service delivery.
