The Role
Fiddlers Green Retirement Village, located in Berwick, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Village Support Officer on a Casual basis.
Our residents are independent retirees who have sought the company and safety of living in a community of like-minded individuals with service provided that give them and their families the reassurance that they will be cared for if the need arises.

• Assisting with our colourful village events
• Assisting to serve meals & beverages
• Responding to resident enquiries
• Responding to call outs
• Undertaking first aid
• Initiating emergency services where required
• Basic admin tasks
• Conducting welfare checks on residents
• Other tasks around the village as directed

Shifts

• Casual
• Approx. 1+ shift per week
• Starting 3:00pm - 9:30pm active shift, then sleepover at the village until 7am

About You

• Availability for afternoon/sleepover and weekend shifts.
• A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
• Strong customer service skills, with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• High motivation, with the ability to take initiative in stressful situations.
• Experience working within Aged Care, Personal Care or Retirement communities - desirable
