Patient Benefits Specialist – Vineland, NJ Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No Weekends) Lawall is a growing, employee-focused prosthetics and orthotics company seeking a Patient Benefits Specialist for our Vineland, NJ location. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week in a professional healthcare setting where patient service and teamwork are valued. The primary responsibility of this position is to communicate with insurance companies and patients to ensure services are authorized, documented, and processed accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and process work orders accurately and in a timely manner * Obtain required documentation for insurance carriers and health plans * Verify patient benefits and secure prior authorizations when required * Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and patients by phone and email * Maintain appropriate professional conduct and appearance * Apply knowledge of various insurance policies and procedures * Provide excellent customer service to patients and families * Support the efficient flow of patient services within the office * Perform additional duties as assigned SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to work independently and use sound judgment * Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills * Professional communication skills, both verbal and written * Comfortable working in a high-volume environment * Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills * Ability to handle confidential information appropriately * Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines * Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel * Organized and detail-oriented * High school diploma or GED required * Ability to sit for extended periods of time * Knowledge of anatomy or medical coding is a plus COMPENSATION * Hourly Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour * Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
