Quails’ Gate Winery is seeking an experienced Vineyard Irrigation Supervisor to oversee and maintain irrigation systems across our estate vineyards. This role ensures vine health, sustainable water use, and high-quality grape production by managing daily irrigation operations, supervising seasonal staff, and maintaining system functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years’ experience in agricultural irrigation (vineyard/orchard preferred)
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of drip irrigation systems and troubleshooting
• Pesticide certification required; equipment operation experience an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record

• Manage and maintain vineyard irrigation systems, pumps, valves, and filters
• Mix and apply fertigation solutions and monitor water usage
• Inspect and repair irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, and vineyard infrastructure
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise and train irrigation technicians and seasonal crew
• Collaborate with the Vineyard Manager and Viticulturist on irrigation strategies
