Vintage Grader and Washer
Duties:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments of stock
- Organize, sort and store received stock in designated areas
- Prepare outgoing deliveries by processing and loading stock onto the van daily
- Ensure that all clothing is sorted into correct sections for laundering
- Manage daily laundry activities to ensure the correct stock and correct volumes of stock are laundered and prepared for the production team daily.
- Managing and operating multiple washers and dryers simultaneously to ensure a high volume of stock being laundered and processed.
- Keep the warehouse and clothing storage areas clean and organized
- Pregrade vintage clothing to help pull for web and stores post washing
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Knowledge of vintage and knowledge of current fashion trends
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product laundry fulfilment
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Join our team at Rokit as a Warehouse Vintage Grader and Laundry team member! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing garment supplies and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the warehouse and laundry operations run smoothly by maintaining an efficient inventory system, daily schedule and providing timely support to various departments such as production and web.
As a Warehouse Grader and Laundry Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all replenishment is fulfilled accurately and on time. This position requires physical stamina, organization, forward planning and the ability to multi-task as you will be required to lift heavy objects and operate Laundry equipment. It also requires a keen vintage eye, flagging key products for both the web and store pricers.
