Description

ABOUT ONE BIG HEART

Founded in 2017, One Big Heart is the Macarthur region’s premier yoga studio and winner of AusActive’s National Studio of the Year 2023. Our vision is simple: Building strong bodies and clear minds through the power of yoga.
We achieve this through execution of our mission of: Delivering consistent classes of effort and ease, with philosophy relevant to the stresses of this modern world so that yoga becomes a lifestyle beyond the mat.
Our classes are transformative, community-driven, and results-focused — designed to meet students in their struggles and support them to grow stronger, calmer, and more connected both on and off the mat.
We are seeking an experienced Yoga Teacher (Contractor) to join the One Big Heart teaching team. This role involves facilitating high-quality classes that embody the OBH method and align with our studio values. Teachers are assigned permanent class blocks (morning or evening) and occasional weekend classes.

Immediate needs are for:

  • Friday Morning Block – 6:00am & 9:30am classes
  • Sunday Morning Class – 9:30am

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • RYT200 minimum (RYT500 preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching Vinyasa (Hot and Slow Flow) and Yin Yoga.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of alignment, anatomy, sequencing, and safe assisting practices.
  • Ability to hold space with confidence, presence, and compassion.
