This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and clinical leadership to support the coordination of integrated responses for children under the age of criminal responsibility (currently 10 years in NSW) who display problematic or harmful sexual behaviours (PHSBs) as part of the Safe Wayz program.
  • The role will also lead the coordination and delivery of trauma informed and cultural safe primary prevention initiatives across the Far West LHD.
  • This role will also hold a small violence abuse and neglect clinical case load.
  • The role will also provide cultural consultation, cultural advice and cultural supervision to clinicians working with Aboriginal children, young people, adults and their families who have experienced violence, abuse and neglect across the Far West LHD.
