Description Department: VIR Human Resources Reports To: VIR HR Director/Department of Interest Purpose: The purpose of this position is to learn more about the operations of Virginia International Raceway as it relates to curriculum or field of interests. Job Responsibilities Contribute to the success of your department by actively working on tasks and projects defined in the internship plan. Participate in structured rotations through multiple departments. Collaborate with team members and leadership to understand departmental objectives. Attend training sessions and shadow staff to gain insight into best practices. Contribute ideas and feedback to improve internal processes or guest experiences. Departments May Include: Maintenance Resort Operations Marketing and Communications HR/Accounting Track Operations IT (if applicable) Requirements Must be enrolled in a two-year program, four-year university, or in the final year of high school; preferred fields include Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related studies. Ability to work multiple weekends throughout the season and maintain a flexible schedule. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a background and drug test Submission of a Cover Letter with explanation of Department of Interest.
