JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Data Room (VDR) Analyst to support the infrastructure of our virtual data room (VDR), ensuring secure and reliable access to critical data for recovery and resolution planning, in alignment with FRB and FDIC requirements.
The Virtual Data Room (VDR) Analyst will focus on the technical and operational management of the virtual data room infrastructure, ensuring its resilience, security, and compliance with regulatory mandates from the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This role involves establishing, testing, and documenting VDR infrastructure to maintain operational continuity.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Three years of experience in Information technology including collecting business requirements related to usage of data, performing data mapping and conducting data quality assessments and developing, utilizing and writing new automation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Understanding of reporting and/or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SSRS, SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of a variety of technologies, data models, and insights across all relevant data sources
  • Understanding of Governance principles
  • Understands concepts like data mining, extraction and analysis as it pertains to a specific bank pillar (e.g., Commercial, Retail, Wealth)
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly shift between technology stacks
  • Ability to mentor and train team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Experience with VDR platforms, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity tools (e.g., encryption, MFA).
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, BIA, and scenario testing.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for regulatory reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain VDR platforms to support secure storage and access to recovery and resolution plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIAs) for VDR-dependent processes, ensuring compliance with FDIC and FRB.
  • Implement and test backup, encryption, and access control solutions to ensure VDR resilience and data integrity.
  • Coordinate VDR infrastructure tests, including failover and cyber incident simulations, to validate recovery capabilities.
  • Document VDR configurations, test results, and processes for FRB/FDIC regulatory submissions and audits.
  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and third-party vendors to align VDR operations with recovery planning goals.
  • Support regulatory reporting and respond to supervisory feedback on VDR-related recovery plans.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
