• Performs functions at a high level of skill and proficiency.
• Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
• Updates firmware and required device profiles installed / deployed to Zero Client devices.
• Maintains fully patched/updated/mitigated Operating System image for testing and production, and provides assistance to customers with operations of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems.
• Collaborates with other Systems Administrators with troubleshooting and resolving issues that negatively affect the customer’s virtual computing environment.
• Works directly with VMware VCenter Server/ESXi Hosts and VMWare Horizon View Administrator and maintains the virtual client pools, and virtual machines for maximum efficiency and monitors the virtual and physical network to ensure system availability.
• Updates/remediates patching of ESXi host devices.
• Compiles the VDI Operating System image for testing and deployment to the user production environment.
