Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Virtual Desktop IT Support to join our client.
Contract Dates: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $30 to $34.54 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:

  • On-boarding and off-boarding users to the virtual Desktop platform (VDI).
  • Review, and monitor VDI performance, and access issues using Enterprise-wide performance systems and tools.
  • Identify user requirements conjunction with desktop and vendor teams to improve performance in any areas identified.
  • Assess and review monthly usage and ensure the technologies are not providing overlapping capabilities and driving cost reductions.
  • Provide 1st level consultation requests and support.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • IT Support experience
  • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, particularly Windows 10/11
  • Experience with Citrix and virtual desktop usage, performance and issue analysis tooling and framework
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel
  • MS Office Suite products experience
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
