Title: Virtual Health & Wellness Services Team Coordinator (Internal only)
Salary: $66,597 - $83,246 - $91,571 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Temporary- Term until March 31, 2027
Hours: 37.5 hours/week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver offices –Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

EDUCATION AND OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent training and experience in a related field, such as business, science, social services, or healthcare.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years recent and relevant experience in a Primary Care setting coordinating and providing administrative support to departmental leadership working directly with First Nations and/or Indigenous health organizations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Health Care and/or Public Health is an asset.
  • Project Management experience is an asset.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY

  • Solid knowledge of First Nations health issues and the BC First Nations health governance structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle and Project Management methodology is an asset.

Responsibilities

The Virtual Health & Wellness Services Team Coordinator will enable access to culturally safe, care closer to home for First Nations people and their family members, FNHA’s 2 Virtual Services 1) The First Nations Virtual Doctor of the Day (FNVDOD), and 2) The First Nations Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Service (FNVSUPS) provide virtual access to Primary Care and Specialist Physicians (Addictions Medicine and Psychiatry), Primary Care and Mental Health nurses, and Registered Clinical Counsellors.
The Virtual Health and Wellness (VHWS) Team Coordinator supports the delivery of culturally safe care by facilitating improved global team functioning and productivity. This role is responsible for comprehensive service coordination support, including managing recurring meetings, managing correspondence with internal and external partners, and coordinating program and team events while managing resources required for safe and quality care, such as setting up systems for procedure reviews and revisions. The position also collaborates with various FNHA departments to develop and maintain efficient service collaboration processes and systems that ensure seamless FNHA service delivery.
