Virtual Hiring Event – Site Supervisor (Orange, CT; Shelton, CT; Thomaston, CT; Vernon, CT) Date: Friday, December 12, 2025 Time: 10:00am-2:00pm Location: Online via Indeed Hiring Events Registration Opens: December 5, 2025 WHO: We are looking to meet individuals seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while demonstrating exceptional leadership and operational skills in a position as a Group Home Manager. Attendees should have experience overseeing the daily operations of a community living arrangement facility (Group Home). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in long-term care management, with expertise in supervising staff, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality resident care. Please review the Experience and Duties listed below prior to registering for this event. DUTIES Oversee daily operations of assigned group home(s). Provide direct support when needed. Get to know residents and help set goals; plan and evaluate programs with the support team. Ensure services meet individual needs and comply with all regulations and policies. Maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment; manage compliance with DDS, DCF, ICF, and Oak Hill standards. Monitor health needs with the Nurse Coordinator. Coordinate resident meetings and ensure timely reports and assessments. Supervise and support staff; act as liaison with families and outside agencies. Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, and safety checks. EXPERIENCE (Preferred) Management experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes. Knowledge of care protocols, dementia and memory care, and community care standards. Skilled in supervising and leading multidisciplinary teams. Expertise in creating and managing individualized care plans. Experience with budgeting, healthcare operations, and resource management. Familiar with medication administration and regulatory compliance. Background in long-term care regulations. Experience with developmental disabilities or retirement home settings preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
